Blissful Events by Blessing began in a box. In 2020, when many celebrations came to a screeching halt, Blessing felt compelled to ensure that her loved ones still felt celebrated from afar. So she transformed an old cardboard box with fancy paper, fringe, and balloons and sent it to a friend who was spending her birthday alone during the pandemic. Her excitement and glee over the personalized box was all the convincing Blessing needed – "Boxed Blessings" was born. Over the next couple of years, many "Boxed Blessings" were shipped to celebrants across the country—for baby showers, graduations, weddings, and birthdays.

As Blessing carefully crafted these elaborate boxes to the specific needs and interests of the client, it became evident that she had a passion for bringing a specific vision to life. Soon, Blessing was asked to decorate an intimate baby dedication party in December of 2021. And that’s how the parties were no longer confined to a box! Over the past few years, Blessing has decorated for friends’ birthdays, baby showers, weddings, community events, and church programs. It’s her joy to see people gathered in a curated space.

Blissful Events by Blessing bloomed and is the product of a dream that Blessing finally allowed herself to dream: that her love for curating community through celebration could reach hundreds of people.
